The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working for the upliftment of Nishad society. From education, employment to the traditional fisheries business of the society, zero percent loan is being provided by the Fisheries Department. He asked the people of the society to participate enthusiastically in this direction and make maximum use of this opportunity. The Chief Minister told the people of the society that by taking advantage of the schemes of the government, farmers can convert agricultural land into ponds through MNREGA. He further said that today there has been an increase of 9 percent in fish farming in Chhattisgarh, 13 percent in fish seed production. He told the people of the society that you will also make arrangements for its sale related to the work of fish seed production.
