2 lakh 7 thousand 321 quintal certified seeds distributed to farmers of Rabi crops

So far, 2 lakh 7 thousand 321 quintal certified seeds of various types of Rabi crops have been distributed to the farmers in the Rabi year 2021-22 through cooperatives, agriculture department and private sector, in which quantity of wheat seed One lakh 13 thousand 920 quintals, gram seed 48,753 quintals, pea seed 3332 quintals, mustard seed 3685 quintals and 37631 quintals of certified seeds of other rabi crops are included. So far, a total of 2 lakh 7 thousand 950 quintal seeds have been stored in the private sector including cooperative societies, agriculture department for the target of distribution of two lakh 92 thousand 970 quintal certified seeds of Rabi crops. 100% seed has been distributed to the farmers against storage.
