Continuous hearing is being held by the Uttar Pradesh State Backward Classes Commission in the office of the State Backward Classes Commission located at Indira Bhawan for the purpose of providing justice to the oppressed and oppressed community of the backward classes of the state. A complaint was received on 15 October 2019 regarding the violation of the rights of the backward. A committee was constituted by the District Magistrate Bareilly on the matter and after the decision of the District Level Caste Certificate Verification Committee, the Tehsildar Nabavganj Bareilly canceled the caste certificate for backward castes of Uttar Pradesh issued in favor of Smt. Shehla Tahir on January 21, 2017. Gaya. This evidence was presented before the commission by the representative of District Magistrate Bareilly at the time of hearing. It was said by the commission that action would be taken to register an FIR against the Municipality President and the concerned officers/employees for making and making fake caste certificates. The matter of which was related to providing the plot, was heard. The commission expressed displeasure over the absence of any representative on behalf of the principal secretary. The commission said that a lot of complaints are being received by Lucknow Development Authority regarding irregularities in the plots of backward classes which is regrettable. Mr. Saini said that Principal Secretary Housing, Uttar Pradesh Government and Vice-Chairman Lucknow Development Authority should take the grievances of backward classes seriously and expeditiously.
