दिव्यांग रामनंदन को क्षमता अनुरूप मनरेगा से मिला निरंतर रोजगार

Divyang Ramanandan has made the state government’s concept of getting work to every person meaningful. Divyang Ramanandan is getting continuous work from MNREGA since the year 2015 according to the capacity. With this, they are not only able to maintain the family but are also helping in the education and writing of their two children. It is worth mentioning that while working in the city is not less than a challenge for people living in rural areas and there is no guarantee that everyone gets work in the city, getting work from MGNREGA at the local level is a dream for Divyang Ramanandan. Not less than Rs. On the other hand, semi-skilled and skilled workers are also getting employment in the works being done under the scheme. Due to this people belonging to weaker section of the society are getting equal opportunity to join the mainstream of development. Even for Mr. Ramanandan’s father, Mr. Shivprasad, a resident of village Panchayat Chathirma in Ambikapur block of Surguja district, coming to the city and finding work for employment was full of challenges and difficulties. Due to the disability of one leg, it was difficult to do hard work or heavy lifting, while due to education only up to higher secondary, it was also challenging for Divyang Ramanandan to get suitable employment. In such a situation, MGNREGA became a support for Shri Divyang Ramanandan. He got information from the Village Employment Assistant that under the scheme, persons with disabilities also get employment opportunities according to their ability. These words of the Village Employment Assistant eased the difficulties of Shri Ramanandan. Without any delay, he applied for employment in the Gram Panchayat. According to their disability, the Gram Panchayat provided them employment opportunities under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA as a mate for the management of workers at the workplace and by giving water to the workers from time to time. Thus Shri Ramanandan is getting continuous work under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA since the year 2015 and he has been paid wages of Rs 79 thousand 895 in the last five years from the scheme. They are now more empowered than ever by getting employment in the village itself. Divyang Ramanandan says that his family consists of two children apart from his paternal wife Mrs. Wifaiya. He spends the wages received from the scheme for the education of his two children Suryakant and Ravikant and for the maintenance of the family. The remaining money is used in agriculture. He states that he has 0.8 acres of agricultural land, which is managed by his wife. She grows paddy in it and grows vegetables and vegetables. Like this:Like Loading… Continue Reading
