Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla reviewed the progress of departmental schemes by taking a meeting of district level officers. Collector said to show sensitivity in the implementation of the schemes. Give priority to the promotion of schemes and achievements and select eligible beneficiaries and benefit them. The collector asked the officials of the department related to fertilizers and seeds to ensure storage of fertilizers and seeds as per the demand of the farmers. According to the instructions of the government, the availability of fertilizers should be ensured in the prescribed proportion in private and cooperative institutions. The collector said that the farmers should also be aware of the available fertilizers and seeds. The collector told the nodal officer of the cooperative bank that farmers should not face any problem in receiving payment in any branch. The number of payment counters should be increased in such bank branches where the crowd is more.
The Collector asked both the District Education Officers and the officials of the Construction Department to ensure that the running water system and toilets in all school Anganwadi centers are in usable condition. Collector asked to give priority to proper arrangement of toilets and water in girls’ schools. The Collector asked the education officers to get the work of repairing all the school buildings completed at the earliest. The school will be started as soon as the government orders. In coordination with the Revenue Department, complete the process of making caste certificate on time. The Collector gave necessary directions to all the officers regarding the preparedness for disaster management. The Collector asked the Chief Municipal Officers of all the urban bodies to ensure cleanliness and water harvesting system in the urban areas. Shukla said that there should not be any complaint related to cleanliness in any city. He asked the present CMO to do the work in such a way that the common citizens appreciate it. The Collector informed that on June 18, a virtual program of inauguration and foundation stone laying of the development works of the district is proposed by the Chief Minister. All the concerned departmental officers were asked to select the place and start the necessary preparations. Additional Collector Leena Kosam, District Panchayat CEO Gajendra Singh Thakur and district level officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
