According to this, the speed of wind will be more than normal in Balaud, Raipur, Durg, Dhamtari and Gariaband districts. Wind speed is likely to be five to six kilometers per hour. Along with this, light rain is also expected in these plains in the coming three to four days. In view of the situation, farmers have been given necessary advice for the Rabi crop.

According to the advice, light rain in the present is beneficial for wheat crop, so do not irrigate when water falls. Chana and other pulses crops under the Rabi crop are prone to insects and pests. In view of this, use recommended pesticides as soon as the weather is clear. For control of chickpeas in gram, spraying of Profenofas and Spermethrin mixed insecticide at 200 ml per acre is sprayed in 200 liters of water.

Worms in paddy crop may increase due to being cloudy. So keep monitoring it continuously. For early pest control, use integrated pest management such as pheromone traps, light prunches or field-grown T or Y-shaped wood in individual locations at a rate of 20-25 nos per hectare to increase activity.

Both mustard and adult stages of aphid pest in mustard crop. In order to control outbreaks of this pest, imidacloprid 17.8 SL at the rate of 250 ml per hectare should be sprayed at an interval of 10-15 days two to three times as required. In the mustard crop, if symptoms of disease appear on the lower leaves, spray Metalexisal at the rate of one gram per liter of water. Depending on the severity of the disease, a spraying may be done after 10–12 days.
