The efforts made by the state government in the last two years for the development of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in Chhattisgarh are constantly appreciated at the national level. During this time, the state government provided houses to the poor, saving rain and ground water, empowering panchayats, innovating in education, ensuring sanitation, eliminating malnutrition, rapid development of backward areas, producing the most food grains, Achievements in many areas including providing employment under MNREGA and Aajeevika Mission, effective implementation of child related schemes, implementing Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, encouraging daughters to education. The state has been awarded for these achievements. Recently, the Government of India has announced the award, praising the ‘More land more houses’ model being operated in Chhattisgarh under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). The award will be presented to Chhattisgarh in a virtual ceremony on 01 January 2021 at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Thus, during these two years, the state has received more than two dozen awards from the central government and various social organizations.
