Durg. By sending a rakhi to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, irregular women workers of government offices have reminded the election promise. The women have demanded regularization as a gift declaration on Raksha Bandhan to the CM. The women sent rakhi through post in separate half-dozen envelopes from the main post office on Friday. Women have also sent a letter of demand along with Rakhi. According to women, a demand for regularization has been sent by sending rakhi to CM in the same way from each district headquarters.

Reminded electoral promise
Rakhi Sharma, District President of Chhattisgarh Combined Irregular Employees Federation, said that the announcement of regularization of irregular personnel was made in the election manifesto announced by the Congress. The workers, who had long hoped for regularization, had voted in favor of the Congress, but even after 18 months of forming the government, the workers are still awaiting regularization. The district president, in a letter sent with Rakhi, has asked the Chief Minister to announce regularization of irregular personnel on the day of Raksha Bandhan.
