Patients are being admitted to the hospital.
Officials said that on Friday, a person infected with the corona virus and a person died in a private hospital at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur. He said that the 44-year-old man, a resident of Idgah Bhantha, Raipur, was admitted to AIIMS on July 22 due to fast breathing. He had pneumonia and was later confirmed to be infected. The patient died early Friday.
The 59-year-old man, a resident of Gariaband district, was admitted to a private hospital in critical condition on July 30 and died on Friday, officials said.
