To encourage participation of social organizations, create public awareness and enable exchange of information, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated the Voluntary Service for COVID-19 Response Website https://coronahelp.cgstate.gov.in.Through this website, one can access updated report of corona cases in Chhattisgarh, list of quarantine centers in state, list of voluntary social organizations, necessary instructions of Central and State Government, quarantine center manual, guidelines for operating and managing centers, manual for pregnant women and children, ways to motivate people in quarantine centers etc. Chief Minister said that this website is a commendable innovation in Chhattisgarh.This website will help in prevention of corona infection, in providing relief works, smooth operation and management of quarantine centers. This website is an exemplary initiative for other states of the country as well. He said that with active support of all sections of society, public representatives, officials-employees, the challenge of corona crisis have been controlled to a greater extent in Chhattisgarh. In future as well, we would deal with this challenge succesfully. On the occasion, Chief Minister interacted with Mr. Bhupesh Vaishnav of Bilaspur, Mr. Basant Yadav of Support Organization Kanker, CFO Chhattisgarh UNICEF Mr. Job Zachariah, Dean of Raipur Medical College Dr Vishnu Dutt, and Principal of Ayurveda College Dr GS Baghel via video conferencing.
Through this website, people interested can register themselves for providing voluntary services and can also make donations of cash and kind. Chhattisgarh has more than 20 thousand quarantine centers, which are presently accomodating more than 3 lakh 50 thousand migrant labourers and other people, and arrival of more than 2 lakh more labourers is expected. In this situation, this website will prove beneficial for the migrant labourers and community. This website has been developed under the guidance of NGOs and State Planning Commission.
