Panchayat and Rural Development and Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo reviewed in detail the progress of other departmental schemes including Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, State Livelihood Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, MGNREGA, 15th Finance Commission works under Panchayat and Rural Development Department at his residence office here today. While reviewing the various schemes of Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Singhdeo has given instructions to complete the approved and progressing works within the time-limit. He has directed to complete the construction of incomplete roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana at the earliest and ensure regular repair of the constructed roads. He has given instructions for maintenance and construction of roads with full quality. Similarly, under the Swachh Bharat Mission, a detailed review of the achievements and physical progress of the districts under toilet construction, ODF sustainability, solid and liquid waste management was done. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister has given instructions to the departmental officers for continuous monitoring and site inspection of schemes for successful implementation of departmental schemes. The information about the allocation and expenditure status was obtained from the officers. He directed the officers to make proper use of the allocation received in rural development. District-wise review of the works taken under the 15th Finance Commission was done in the meeting.
