No Probe against Vadra is a defeat of Democracy

Former Army chief VK Singh said there was a need for thorough probe into the allegations made by IAC activist Arvind Kejriwal with regard to corruption. No doubt probe against Vadra-Hooda-Yajee-DLF nexus would be a victory for democracy.

This is right that Vadra-Hooda-Yajee-DLF man made disaster is more dangerous than natural storm in US disaster.

Well-known author and public intellectual, Gurcharan Das has justified the call for a probe against Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra means national son in law saying that this would be important for Indian democracy. A probe into the allegations against Vadra “would be very healthy,” said Gurcharan Das in Pune.

“If you can actually probe and put the first family in the dock, it would be a victory for democracy and show that nobody is above the law,” Gurcharan Das said.

“Democracy means many things- it means equality, liberty, justice, elections, free press…But most important of all is the rule of law. Vadra should not be above the rule of law,” Gurcharan Das said.

As an example of a strong rule of law, Gurcharan Das cited the example of the sentencing of former president of Enron Corporation Jeffrey Skilling to 24 years in prison following the collapse of the U.S. multinational. Skilling’s lawyer had requested for a reduction of just 10 months in the sentence as that would keep Skilling away from the company of hardened criminals, murderers and rapists in jail.

“The biggest achievement of the Anna Hazare movement was to awaken the middle class,” the author said, while observing that the political awakening of the middle class was bound to have an impact with the expansion of this segment of society.

“The institutions of the police, bureaucracy and the courts that India inherited in 1947 were much better. The destruction of institutions began under Indira Gandhi,” Gurcharan Das said.

Robert Vadra's land dealings with real estate firm DLF are not an individual issue, says IAS Officer Ashok Khemka,

Minority illegitimate government of democratic India Sonia Gandhi led UPA government is shy to probe against the Vadra-Hooda-Yajee-DLF nexus being related to national son-in-law. Is this victory or defeat of democracy?

Obama won Dynasty but not Advani Dynasty rule by democracy becomes the fate of India. It is oxygen for Congress but hereditary disease for the common people. Is this incurable? I want to ask Ramdeo Baba! Due to dynastic rule in India Vadra-Hooda-Yajee-DLF nexus is not being probed.

Speaking on the eve of Indian Independence Winston Churchill said "Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues and freebooters. All Indian leaders will be of low calibre and men of straw." In response to the policy of the Labour government toward India he said "Let the House remember this. The Indian political parties and political classes do not represent the Indian masses. It is a delusion to believe that they do. I wish they did. They are not as representative of them as the movements in Britain represent the surges and impulses of the British nation."

In his magazine 'Harijan' dated 24th May, 1942, Gandhiji wrote, "Under my proposal, they have to leave India in Gods hands but in modern parlance to anarchy, and that anarchy may lead to internecine warfare for a time or to unrestrained dacoities. From these, a true India will rise in the place of the false one we see."

The Indians and Indian politicians are proving the premonitions of both Gandhiji & Winston Churchill.

Should grabbing of more 2000 crores from 50 lakhs by Vadra and Gandhi as I discussed in my following titled article, be the work of leaders or dacoits?

Swine flu of hereditary democracy

By Premendra Agrawal at August 12, 2009 13:19

Hereditary democracy/political monopoly/ one family rule in India be checked or not? Is this type of democracy not more panic than Swine flu.

Monarchy/princely - power in hands of 1 individual, Democracy- power in hands of people:

Sardar Patel vs Nehru Gandhi dynasty

What did Sardar Vallabh and what did members of the Nehru Gandhi dynasty and others? Sardar Patel took charge of the task to forge a united India from the 565 semi-autonomous princely states and British-era colonial provinces at the time of Independence, Using frank diplomacy backed with the option (and the use) of military action, Patel's leadership enabled the accession of almost every princely state. Hailed as the Iron Man of India,

Monopoly of Political parties in the shape of Monarchs

Unfortunately instead of 565 princely states now we have individual or family ruled political parties. “In 2009 Lok Sabha election total of 369 parties, including seven national parties, had fielded candidates in the elections. However, winners in this year's polls are from 37 different parties, according to the list of winning candidates brought out by the Election Commission,” www.newsanalysisindia.com/

Absolute power corrupts absolutely "

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely,” This famous dictum of Baron Acton sounds true in Inidan political scene. Indian politicians in their bid to remain in power permanently have converted ‘democracy’ into ‘hereditary democracy/political monopoly/ one family rule in India’. In other words ‘democracy’ has been perverted or degenerated into ‘hereditary democracy/political monopoly/ one family rule in India’ Sonia, Karuna, Mulayan, Maya, Mamta,Jaya, Thackeray, Ajit Singh, Chautala, Badal, Naidu, Patnaik, Shard Pawar, Sheikh abdullah, Laloo, Paswan and few others or in this democratic dictatorial line.

Teams needed to check one family rule

The World Health Organization says making a swine flu vaccine appears to be more difficult than experts first thought. The Bihar government has put district hospitals on alert and has also formed health check-up teams to monitor foreigners entering India from neighboring Nepal. Should these type of team should not be formed in whole India to check one family rule in India. Dr Ram Manohar Lohia took steps to unite parties against the Congress monopoly rule in India. Jay Prakash Narayan had united voters against the emergency rule of Indira Gandhi. Opposite to the above now the Indian democracy is gradually degenerating into a hereditary democracy,
because most of the Indian leaders in party politics who hold power make conscious attempts to transfer power to their wards thereby depriving the legitimate chances of other party men to come to power; In the end the party system in democracy becomes a laughing joke in the world.
