On the occasion of 75th anniversary of independence, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and National Service Scheme organized Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 under Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi at Gariaband, Chhattisgarh today on 25th September, 2021 (Saturday). Nehru Yuva Kendra, UNICEF, NSS. More than 175 youths including volunteers of K.K. and Police Department personnel participated in this district level race. Freedom-Run was flagged off by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat and the Chief Guest of the program, Mr. Sandeep Agarwal. The race started at Government VS Sai, PG College, Gariaband and ended at Mangal Bhavan, Gandhi Bazar. Government VS. The program, organized at Sai, PG College, Gariaband, began with garlanding the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and the national anthem by the guests. After this, the youth were administered the oath of fitness for half an hour daily. Talware, In-charge Principal PG College and Ms. Vandana Pandey, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Gariaband were specially present. Addressing the youth, the chief guest of the program Mr. Sandeep Aggarwal said that during the corona epidemic, many physical and mental problems have occurred in the people, these problems can be overcome by giving half an hour of fitness every day. On this occasion, District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shri Arpit Tiwari ji while addressing the youth said that the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi is being organized on the 75th anniversary of independence.
