The state government has issued guidelines for the implementation of the scheme from the Kharif year 2021 under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
It will be mandatory for farmers wishing to get benefits under the scheme from 01 June to 30 September 2021 to register in the portal of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana https://rgkny.cg.nic.in.
According to the process displayed in the portal, preliminary verification and testing of the application and records of the farmer will be done by the Rural Agricultural Extension Officer. After verification of the application, the filled application form along with necessary records will have to be submitted to the concerned Kisan Credit Cooperative Society within the stipulated timeframe. The farmer must mandatorily provide the Aadhaar number along with the application. Confidentiality of Aadhaar number will be ensured. If the farmer does not have an Aadhaar number, he will be encouraged to register with the Unique Identification Authority of India.
At the district level, the scheme will be implemented by the Agriculture Department under the guidance of the Collector. All categories of landowners and forest tenant farmers will be eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme, but institutional land holding farmers and regaha, share croppers, tenant farmers will not be eligible. The figures of Girdawari maintained in the Bhuiyan portal for the respective season and the crop and area mentioned in the application of the farmer, whichever is less, will be considered for the calculation of input assistance. The provisions of the Agricultural Land Ceiling Act will be taken into consideration while determining eligibility. On the death of the registered farmer, input assistance will be provided by the Tehsildar in the name of the nominee of the family. On giving incorrect information in the application form, the assistance amount given will be recovered as per the prevailing provision of the Land Revenue Code.
It is worth mentioning that under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers will be given 9 thousand per acre of input subsidy every year from Kharif 2021 with paddy, main crops of kharif maize, kodo-kutki, soybean, pigeonpea and sugarcane growers. In the year 2020-21, the area by which the farmer sold paddy at the minimum support price, if he planted kodo-kutki, sugarcane, pigeonpea, maize, soybean, pulses, oilseeds, sweetened paddy and other fortified paddy, banana, papaya in exchange for paddy. Is, or if he plants a tree, then he will be given an input aid of Rs. 10 thousand per acre. This amount will be given to the farmer who is planting the tree for 3 years.
