Amid an acute scarcity of medical oxygen within the nationwide capital, the Delhi authorities has arrange a portal on its official web site to streamline the distribution of oxygen to COVID-19 sufferers in residence isolation, non-COVID hospitals, nursing houses and ambulances.
According to the official launch, these requiring oxygen for residence isolation can apply with a legitimate picture id, Aadhar card particulars, COVID optimistic report and different paperwork like CT scan report if out there on the Delhi authorities web site — delhi.gov.in.
“From 06 05 2021, all persons/individuals requiring oxygen for home isolation patients will apply on delhi.gov.in/ with a valid photo id, Aadhar card details, COVID positive report and other documents (CT Scan report, etc. if available) indicating the actual need for oxygen,” it mentioned.
The District Magistrates will determine devoted sellers/depots to distribute such cylinders to the people who won’t be redirected to refilling crops below any circumstances. “The DMs shall ensure that an adequate number of office personnel are assigned to scrutinise all the incoming applications and issue the e-passes quickly as time is of the essence in such cases,” the order reads.
Based on the inventory availability on the supplier, the DM will subject a go containing the date, time and tackle of the supplier/depot from the place the oxygen cylinder may be issued/exchanged. Before issuing the go, the DM should make sure that the crammed oxygen cylinder is accessible as per the go issued, it mentioned.
The order mentioned that the District Magistrates will make sure that the distribution of lump-sum allocation is completed judiciously and equitably between the people, non-COVID hospitals, nursing houses, ambulances and SOS Cylinders of COVID Hospitals working on liquid medical oxygen (LMO).
