The registration deadline of farmers has been extended from January 31 to February 28 under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana for the Kharif 2020 by the Department of Agriculture Development, Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology, Government of Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Director Agriculture Bilaspur said that the data of farmers registered by the Food Department will be validated for the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Yojana and based on the quantity acquired, the input amount will be calculated by taking proportionate area information. Sugarcane crushing area registered in the cooperative sugar factory for the year 2020-21 will be recognized for calculating the grant-in-aid under the scheme.
Calculation of input support for crops other than paddy, maize, sugarcane growing farmers and soybean, groundnut, sesame, pigeonpea, moong, urad, kulathi, ramatil, kodo, kutki and ragi crops calculated according to Girdawari of related crops Will be done proportionately based on the respective acreage. Farmers planting other crops must compulsorily register with the concerned Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society. The verification of the application form of the farmers will be done by the Rural Agricultural Extension Officer based on the data of Girdawari in the respective season displayed in the Bhuyan portal.
After verification, farmers can fill up the completed Form-1 with necessary records such as loan book, Aadhaar number, photocopy of bank passbook, submit it to the concerned Primary Cooperative Society and register it with the concerned deadline by February 28, 2021. Huh.
In addition to the crops covered under the scheme, no monetary assistance will be payable on crops other than crops. Similarly, unregistered farmers will not be eligible for grant in aid under the scheme. On the basis of the database of farmers obtained under this process, the amount funded by the nodal bank will be directly transferred to the account of the farmers.
