A national level skill competition for children is being organized on 25 April. School authorities can submit entries in the prescribed format of Junior Skills Portal. Registration has started from 15 January. The last date for registration is 19 February 2021. To participate in the competition, one can fill in the registration form available at (worldskillsindia.co.in/juniorSkills2021).
Screening and selection will be done by National Skill Development Corporation. The competition will be held online. The competition will be held on 25 April 2021 in physical presence. CBSE students up to 12th can participate in this. This championship will be in four levels.
Examination, merit-based selection, will be conducted at pre-national and national level. Between the current Kovid-19 status, three level competitions will be held online, and the concluding program is proposed to be held at the physical level in Delhi.
Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) has tied up with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for the launch of Junior Skills. Through this, a first of its kind skill competition will be organized with a view to create a wider awareness about the importance of skill development among the youth of India.
