Kharif marketing year 2020-21: 3 lakh 61 thousand 335 quintals of paddy purchased in the district this year

As per the guidelines of the state government, a buffer of 3 lakh 61 thousand 335 quintals of paddy has been purchased from 83 thousand 96 registered farmers from 01 December 2020 to 31 January 2021 at the support price for the Kharif marketing year 2020-21. Which is 33 thousand 573 quintal paddy more than the paddy purchased in the year 2019-20. Paddy was procured through 93 procurement centers of 66 Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies of the district under the efficient guidance of Collector PSAlma. It is worth mentioning that 3 lakh 27 thousand 762 quintals were purchased from 73 thousand 34 registered farmers in the year 2019-20 and 3 lakh 6 thousand 852 quintals of paddy from 61 thousand 999 registered farmers registered in 2018-19.
District Marketing Officer told here today that from 01 December 2020 to 31 January 2021, Paddy Procurement Center, Akhrar, 38 thousand 379 quintal, Kanteli 35 thousand 291 quintal, Deori 32 thousand 490 quintal, Kirana 41 thousand 344 quintal, Kodwa 41 Thousand 481 quintals, 29 thousand 634 quintals in Khutera, 70 thousand 499 quintals in Khudia, 31 thousand 275 quintals in Khaparikala, 81 thousand 336 quintals in Khamhi, 64 thousand 825 quintals in Guruvidbury, 32 thousand 159 quintals in Geedha, 32 thousand 159 quintals in Gidha, 36 thousand in Dharampura. , 53 thousand 927 quintal in Dhardei, 46 thousand 515 quintal in Chakarbhatha, 36 thousand 622 quintal in Chandkuri, 32 thousand 09 quintal in Chandali, 26 thousand 289 quintal in Jhafal, 51 thousand 561 quintal in Chhatan, 43 thousand 538 quintal in Jaragaon, A buffer of 19 thousand 252 quintals at Amalikapa and 22 thousand 621 quintals of paddy at Amora, a procurement center, was purchased.
