Urban Administration and Development and Labor Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria has given five development works worth Rs 6 crore 13 lakh to Kasdol Nagar Panchayat. Out of these, under the water augmentation scheme of Rs 4 crore 90 lakh and Pauni Pasari scheme of Rs 2.5 lakh, Bhoomi Pujan of market construction and Guru Ghasidas Community Building, built in ward number one, Rs 20 lakh in ward 14, with a cost of Rs 51 lakh. Inaugurated a compound built of 27 lakhs in the built community building and Daulatram Sharma Government College in the program. The function held at Guru Ghasidas Government Higher Secondary School was presided over by Parliamentary Secretary and local MLA Ms. Shakuntala Sahu. On the request of the MLA and local representatives, Dr. Dahria has announced approval of 20 lakh for Teachers’ House in Kasdol, 10 lakh for Sinha Samaj Community Building and 10 lakh for Ghasidas Community Building. Under various schemes of Urban Administration and Development Department, Minister Dr. Dahria also distributed checks and loans to a dozen beneficiaries. On the occasion as special guest, Chairman of State Farmers Welfare Council, Surendra Sharma, District President Hitendra Thakur , Former MLA Mr. Arun Mishra, former District President Mr. Dinesh Yadu, youth leader Manas Pandey were present.
Dr. Dahria, while addressing the gathering with the Chief Guest, highlighted the remarkable achievements made in the last two years in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. He said that in the field of urban sanitation, Chhattisgarh has received awards and honors continuously for the last two years. Dr. Dahria said that out of the 36 promises made at the time of government formation, 24 promises have been fulfilled. The proceedings to fulfill the remaining promises are also in progress. Dr. Dahria said that the development of farmers is a top priority for our government. We clearly believe that prosperity of farmers is the key to the development of the state and the country. He said that Chhattisgarh government is buying paddy at the rate of Rs 2500 per quintal as promised. Under the Rajiv Kisan Nyaya Yojana, the difference from the support price is being given as the amount of respect. Accordingly, procurement of paddy from farmers will continue. There is no question of retracting like other people. He said that we are purchasing more paddy from more and more farmers by making them members of the society.
