Prabha Dubey, chairperson of the State Child Rights Protection Commission, instructed to run a campaign to tackle crimes against children in the state. He said that the number of incidents against children in the state is increasing, which is quite worrying. For this, the Integrated Child Protection Unit, Child Welfare Committee, Police Administration, Child Help Line, Women and Child Development Department will have to work together to make a better action plan.

He also inspected the Government Child Communication Home, Adoption Agency and inquired about the arrangements there and instructed to work in the best interests of the children. Deputy Collector Shyama Patel, SDOP Subhash Das, District Program Officer LR Kachhap, Child Welfare Committee and JJB members along with officials of Education Department, Health Department and Child Protection Unit were present on the occasion.
