Nissan’s affordable SUV Magnet will give mileage of up to 20 kmpl

The new Nissan Magnite is going to enter the sub-compact SUV segment of the Indian car market. The car can be launched on November 26, although the company has already revealed its engine and features. But from the price to the mileage, there are some details that customers are eagerly waiting for. The car will get the option of 1.0 liter B4D petrol and 1.0 liter HRA0 turbo petrol engine.

The company claims that the car is going to get many segment-first features. Apart from this, it is also not going to disappoint in terms of mileage. Nissan has revealed the ARAI-certified mileage of the car. According to the company, the 1.0 liter petrol engine of Nissan Magnite will give a mileage of 18.75kmpl in a 5-speed manual transmission. At the same time, the car’s turbo petrol engine will give 20kmpl in 5-speed manual transmission and 17.7kmpl in CVT transmission.

The length of this 4-meter car is 3,994mm, width 1,758mm, height 1,572mm, wheelbase 2,500mm and ground clearance 205mm. It gets 336 liters of boot space, which can be increased to 690 liters by folding the rear seats. The car gets 16 inch wheels and the spare wheel is 15 inches. Disc brakes are provided at the front and rear drum brakes.

The company has not disclosed the price, but according to the recently leaked online report, the price of Nissan Magnite will start from Rs 5.5 lakh. This price can be of 1.0 liter XE petrol variant. At the same time, the price of XV Premium variant that comes with 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine and CVT transmission can be up to Rs 9.55 lakh. The car will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Nexon, Sonnet, XUV300 and Hyundai Venue.
