The ongoing high-level meeting in the capital Raipur is over. There has been a general consensus among all the authorities that in view of the increasing corona infection in the capital, a complete lockdown of one week will be imposed. The collector informed that a lockdown will be imposed from 9 am to 28 September 21 night. However, its order has not been issued. The order will be issued by late evening.

A meeting of officers was held today at the Collectorate premises to prepare for the lockdown. Raipur Collector, District Panchayat CEO, Corporation Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, ADM, SDM and many officials were present in the meeting.

Significantly, complete lockdown has been imposed in Balod district from 22 to 30 September. The Collector has implemented this in the affected gram panchayats along with all the urban bodies of the district, exercising the rights conferred in the Pandemic Diseases Act, 1897. At Bemetra, the entire lockdown has been imposed from September 13 to 20. The entire lockdown of 1 week has been done in the urban body areas of Mungeli district. The lockdown has been imposed from 17 to 23 September. Apart from this, lockdown has also been done in Durg and Rajnandgaon. At the same time, lockdown can also be done in Bilaspur district. In Dhamtari district, people have asked the district administration to close the city.

Explain that 672 new patients have been identified in Raipur district on Friday, with this, the number of infected patients has now increased to 26119 in the district. At the same time, 10627 patients have returned home after recovering. So far, 301 patients have died in the district.
