The Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rains with thunderstorms in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and parts of Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning. Along with this, the department has informed that during the next 2-3 days, there may be heavy rains at different places in major areas of North West India (Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh). .

According to the Meteorological Department, with light to moderate intensity rain at different places in Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Shamli, Karnal, Roorkee, Khatauli, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Najibabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Agra, Tundla, Mathura Thunderstorms may occur. On the other hand, after continuous rains in Kerala, there has been waterlogging in some parts of Kottayam.

The rain that started in Bihar from Tuesday continues on Wednesday as well. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for rain and thunderstorms for various districts of the state including Patna. Today, heavy rain warning has been issued for Patna, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, West Champaran and East Champaran. Talking about the capital Patna, it has been raining heavily since morning. Due to rain, many areas of the capital have been submerged in water logging. According to the Meteorological Department, the axis of monsoon is moving into the Bay of Bengal, due to which the moisture coming will continue to rain intermittently till Thursday.
