According to the information received, the company’s plant is spread over an area of 5.5 acres, and an investment of Rs 160 crore has been made in this plant. Let me tell you, shifter and thunder series helmets will be manufactured at this manufacturing plant. Along with this, the company will also manufacture bicycle helmets at this plant.
According to the report, the company has also recently started operations in a new manufacturing plant, on which only expanded polystyrene (EPS) will be produced. Let me tell you, EPS is a crucible foam that is used in helmet production. It is considered the most important part of the helmet. The company has invested a total of Rs 40 crore on this plant, and is spread over about 1.5 acres.
Let us know, the company claims that about 75 lakh motorcycle helmets will be made every year in the new production plant started. At the same time, this plant will also have a production capacity of 1.5 million bicycle helmets. More than 1500 people are expected to get employment from this plant.
Commenting on the inauguration of the new plants, Siddharth Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director of Studds Accessories said, “This step proves our commitment to ‘Make in India’ in front of the world. He further added that “We have just started operations and are planning to increase production gradually. With the start of our new plants we have increased our production capacity from 7 million to 14 million units of motorcycle helmets. With these two new facilities, Studs now has four manufacturing factories in the country, all of which are located in Faridabad and Haryana. The company also exports its helmets to more than 40 countries. ”
