Minister Dr. Premasay Singh informed the media representatives today through videoconferencing that 15 lakh 77 thousand 351 school students are getting benefit of ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ program. One lakh 65 thousand 245 teachers have also been connected to this portal. Dr. Tekam said that the government has decided to postpone the fees of children studying in private schools. Notice has been issued to 8 non-government schools on the complaint of charging children.

He said that after the Corona transition, the School Education Department had taken all the schools under the category of lockdown on March 13, 2020, taking precautions and following the physical distacing and necessary instructions in the schools. In order to prevent the education of school children due to the lockdown, the ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ program was started immediately. The online portal was launched on April 7 under this program by Chief Minister Shri Baghel. This portal has been made available free of cost to all children on cgschool.in.

School Education Minister informed that 7 thousand 910 videos, 188 audio, 3 thousand 477 photos, one thousand 754 course materials have been uploaded in the portal of ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ program and 78 online classes have been conducted. This portal has also been made available for higher education. The ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ program has been highly appreciated. He said that children of any state can join and study through this portal. Our Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also written a letter to the Chief Ministers of other states in this regard. Along with this, online classes were also started through various apps, constantly contacting children. Children from class I to X are benefiting from this online process and portal. He informed that this facility is being provided to the children of class 11th and 12th soon. Dr. Tekam said that children will be given admission in the state under the Right to Education Act.

The school education minister said that in order to follow physical distancing, children in school should not sit together and take the exam. Taking important decisions in this regard, the government has given general promotion to all the children of class IX to XI and class XI and class XI has also given promotion to the next class.

Premasai Singh said that the midday meal of the children should not be affected during the period of lockdown, so that 40 days dry grain was made available to the children for all children from class I to VIII. Out of 29 lakh children in the state, 98 percent children are taking advantage of this.

He said that in order to avoid financial burden on the parents of children studying in private schools during the lockdown period, action has been postponed to charge the children of all the private schools. Also, employees working in private schools have been instructed to continue the pay for the lockdown period.

More than 2200 migrants in more than 110 identified institutions of primitive and scheduled castes

Dr. Tekam said that keeping in mind the prevention of infection from Kovid-19, the educational institutions as well as hostel-ashrams, specific educational institutions run by the Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Department in the state, were directed to be closed with immediate effect. went. During the lockdown period, 257 hostels-ashrams and other residential educational institutions operated in different districts have been identified by the department for taking care of such migrant people of Chhattisgarh and other states who have failed to reach their destination and are stuck in the middle. was done. Adequate arrangements have been made for the stay of migrant persons at these centers. With the help of district administration and local bodies, food etc. is being made available to them. Duty of hostel superintendents and kitchens have also been installed to support the system. Currently more than 2200 migrant persons are staying in more than 110 identified departmental institutions.

50 percent of target in fertilizer societies

Minister informed that the procurement season 2020 has started. This year, a target has been set to disburse 4600 crore loans to about 13 lakh farmers through cooperative societies. He informed that the work of loan disbursement has been started, so far 24.39 crore loans have been disbursed. For distribution of chemical fertilizers to farmers, a target of 6.35 lakh tonnes has been set this year for the cooperative sector. 50 percent of the target set has reached the fertilizer societies. 3.90 lakh tonnes of chemical fertilizer is currently available with marketing associations and cooperative societies. Complete arrangements of fertilizer and seeds have been made for the farmers. He informed that this year storage of all manure has started in cooperative societies. Currently 1.51 lakh tonnes of fertilizer is available in cooperative societies, 1637 tonnes of fertilizer has been distributed to farmers. Dr. Tekam said that farmers can obtain fertilizer permits (on loan) by following social distance.

He said that 6 lakh 75 metric tonnes of sugarcane have been purchased from farmers in the state. 55 crore rupees have been paid to farmers and 121 crores are yet to be paid.
