Against the amendment in the SC / ST Act, India’s closure today

New Delhi. Today, the upper castes have called off India in protest against the amendment to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act. The impact of India bandh is mostly seen in Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The upper castes have opened a front against the Center’s decision in which the government has decided to amend the SC / ST act by overthrowing the Supreme Court verdict and restoring it to its original form.

Bihar/ The upper castes stopped the Lokmanya Tilak Express near the Aara railway station and sloganeering against the center. In Madhubani, the NH 105 has blocked the agitators. Those who were performing said that if the government did not make changes in the SC / ST Act, then there would be a big movement.

Rajasthan/ The state also saw the effect of the shutdown. The schools, colleges and malls of Jaipur were all closed. In Rajasthan, the upper castes have come on the streets in protest against the amendment in the SC / ST Act.

Madhya Pradesh/ Given the closure, the police-administration in whole of Madhya Pradesh is on alert. Police-administration has increased security in sensitive areas. After the violence of several parts of Madhya Pradesh and the death of many people during the India shutdown on April 2 this year, the administration has now deployed additional security forces in such areas. In the districts of Chhattarpur, Gwalior, Bhind, Shivpuri, Murनाa and Sheopur districts of the state, the district administration has imposed precautionary restrictions. During the prohibition, any rally in the boundaries of these districts, Procedures, Shobayatra, Dharan-demonstration and Public meetings etc. will be restricted without the permission of the competent authority. Also, no such message will be exchanged on social media.

Uttar Pradesh/ There is a police alert in the state. Strict security arrangements have been made in many cities including Lucknow, Bijnor, Allahabad, Azamgarh and Bareilly.
